(EMERALD'S STORY )

EPISODE ONE

Being the only child and daughter of my parents for some time was so blissful , I was so loved and

pampered too, they made me feel like Queen indeed , but my dad is a disciplinarian . I wasn't raised

up like an only child too , my dad always say you will have a sister or brother soon and I kept on

holding on to it since I was little .

One day on my 8th year birthday, my mom gave birth to a baby girl and I became to happy , Emerald

meet your younger sister Annabel , my mum said with so much happiness written all over her face.

I became so happy too , while growing up ,my mum cared and paid more attention to Annabel so

much but since she was my little sister didn't worry about it and my dad was always there for me as

well. I was always looking out for Annabel since she was my sister and we share so many things

together. , I and Anabel grew up together with one sided love from both parents ,till my 18th year

birthday , that night my mum called us that she has something to tell us and that it was very

important.

We left all our friends who came to spend the night and went to meet mum. Sit down my Children,

my mum said. With the look on our faces we felt something bad has happened.

Its nothing bad, I just want you both to know, you are my children and everything will be alright.

Queen you are the eldest of my children and I love you, I also feel you have come of age & I would

want you know you are an ADOPTED child and this doesn't make any difference ,you brought

sunshine to my home , I had been barren for years and God bless me with Annabel eight years after

you came ....mum continued

My head was still trying to process what she said, me an Adopted child, How? ?? I thought

Mum really, I can't believe this, how come you are just telling me now? ?? I asked
